2009年AXYGEN公司正式推出Maxygen 梯度PCR仪，标志着AXYGEN正式进入实验室仪器领域。该款PCR仪继承了Axygen 产品优异的品质，并充分考虑了实验的需求，拥有极高的性价比。
MAXYGEN  PCR仪采用了独特的样品温度和模块温度同步技术，保证实验结果的重现性。在实验中我们发现样品的温度变化最快在1℃左右，模块温度过快变化导致样品温度滞后于模块温度，导致了实验条件的失真。MAXYGEN PCR仪采用了2－3度的变化速率，到临近设定目标温度时减速，该智能控制模式使样品和模块温度保持高度一致，最大的保证了实验结果的重现性和条件的真实性；到达预订温度后如何使温度稳定而不出现波动的难题一直困扰着许多厂家，MAXYGEN PCR仪采用的温控系统具备了极高的稳定性，消除了在到达预设温度后出现的上下波动。
MAXYGEN  PCR仪的出现让你告别了过去命令行式的原始操作，超大的LCD面板，生动直观的图形化程序编制让初学者一看就会，节省使用者大量的学习时间。系统支持模块化插入程序段，预设有标准程序段，利用该标准程序段，轻轻移动光标就可以编制出复杂的温度控制程序，永别一行一行设定参数的日子！
MAXYGEN  PCR仪采用了滑盖设计，有效的避免了传统翻盖开盖时高温烫伤现象。在热盖温度上，有60—65℃和100－115℃两个范围可选，在PCR管密封性不太好的情况下，可以采用提高热盖温度的方法防止蒸发，而固定温度无法做到这点。另外热盖还可以设定在60-65度，用于酶切等反应。同时热盖高度可调，使用不同品牌不同规格PCR管，到达一定压力会有提示音，提示管盖压力已到位，避免用力过大损坏PCR管或者压力过小导致密封性不够！
