Recombinant. Feruloyl esterase domain of xylanase XynZ (Xyn10A) from Clostridium thermocellum. 
In 3.2 M ammonium sulphate.

Specific activity: ~ 0.6 U/mg on ethyl ferulate at 50oC and pH 6.0. This enzyme is ~ 180 fold more active on FAXX.

Stability: > 2 years at 4oC.
