人ES/ips细胞 未分化标记rBC2LCN对未分化ES/IPS细胞表面存在的糖链有极高的亲和性，因此，rBC2LCN可作为ES/IPS的细胞标志。
使用荧光标记的rBC2LCN，只要直接添加到培养液中，即可进行人ES/IPS活细胞染色。将与绿杆脓菌毒素（PE23）结合的rBC2LCN-PE23同样添加到培养液中，能杀死人ES/IPS细胞。
◆案例
■人iPS细胞的活细胞染色（Live Cell Imaging）
分别用rBC2LCN和Tra-1-81给人iPS细胞201B株染色，2小时后确认染色图像：rBC2LCN染色细胞比Tra-1-81染色细胞更能清晰地观察到荧光的部分。

■去除间充质干细胞分化中的人ips细胞
疾病患者源人ips细胞分化间充质干细胞，：将rBC2LCN-PE23加入上述混合培养液，终浓度为10μg/ml。添加24小时后人ips细胞群开始崩解，48小时后人ips细胞渐渐去除。
另外，rBC2LCN-PE23添加48小时后，间充质干细胞不受影响，细胞仍保持活性。

BC2LCN specifically recognizes sugar chains present on the cell surface of human ES and iPS cells. This product has been labeled with FITC, and can be directly used for analysis of living undifferentiated cells by adding to the culture medium containing human ES and iPS cells at an appropriate concentration. In addition, no cytotoxicity can be detected when cells are continuously cultured for several days in the presence of this product.

rBC2LCN（AiLecS1）是Burkholderia cenocepacia来源的凝集素BC2L-C的N末端域用大肠菌表达的重组凝集素。BC2LCN 能特异性识别未分化的人ES･iPS细胞的细胞表面存在的糖链。
